Dear/ importers of poultry meat, table eggs, products and equipment
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (SG / 2914) dated 16/12 / 1439 that referred to the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (74425) dated (7/12/1439) on the issuance of the decision of the Authority No. (73657 / s) dated (3/12/1439) that to impose a temporary ban on the importation of poultry meat and table eggs and their products and equipment from Sabah in Malaysia, due to the emergence of severe bird flu in the area.
The only exception of the temporary ban on poultry meat, table eggs and their products is if thermally treated or in any way that can eliminate the avian influenza virus, and to be in accordance with the requirements and health controls and standard specifications approved with the attaching a certificate of health to prove that issued by the official specialized authorities in the State of Malaysia.
